Since the dawn of time, man has sought to get something for nothing, and what does man seek most? Food! However, it was not easy to simply acquire food. For æons and æons, the only options were labor, which was tedious, or thievery, which was frowned upon and punished by local governments. The plight of man seemed dire and everlasting. But one day, all of that changed. A savior was sent down to Earth by the sky god, known only by the letter M.

"I have come to free you from your minor inconveniences!" M told man. "I have a new way for you to obtain food, which requires neither tribulations nor crossing the law!"

Many were skeptical of his spectacular claim, but a select few listened. "Please tell us, O Great M," they pleaded. "Tell us of this great technique."

"Very well," said M, "this method is known as... Food Mooching! Every day, there are events where food is given away. These events range from parties to weddings to carnivals to ceremonial dances. The process is a simple one, my mortal friends. All you must do is find and enter these events. If you band together, you can collectively discover enough events to supply you with a lifetime of free food, and memoirs of experiences. I will guide you in the beginning, train you in the proper way, equip you with the most effective tools. Come, my new followers; there is no time to waste!"

And so M trained them. He taught them how to blend in at parties of the nobles, how to attend weddings, how to follow travelling carnivals. Once he was satisfied that they were ready to act on their own, he brought them to the tallest mountain in all the lands, and made one final speech:

"My followers," he began, "you are now great Food Moochers. You are ready to be free and mooch without my guidance. I will bid you all farewell in a moment, and should you ever need me, I shall return. Remember, I will always be in your stomachs."

With that, M transformed into a banquet, and the Moochers ate him up.

For many centuries, the Moochers flourished, always arriving uninvited and leaving full. But as time progressed, they lost their ways, once again getting jobs or becoming common criminals. M realized that he was needed once more, and thus, he appeared again, in the form of...   FoodMoocher.com

If you've gotten this far, you most likely are already a Moocher, or at least aspiring to become one. To be a Moocher means you must have no fears. In the immortal words of M, you must wander into a party uninvited, and leave full. Should you be outed as a Moocher, you must not fear. You can make up an excuse. You can think on your feet. If that fails, you must run away! Remember, you are not fleeing of cowardice, but retreating for strategy and convenience. You will return to Mooch another day! As a Moocher, you must always analyze the situation beforehand, or at least study the analysis of others.
